Healthy ketosis is a combination of getting your macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fat) correct and getting the micro nutrients into your macros by increasing the quality of food.

How to Do Keto Correctly:
• No Fruit
• No Snacking
• Don’t eat unless hungry.

• Carbs (20 to 50grams

I’ve been eating the way of the keto for almost 4 weeks. I feel so good, I suffered from restless leg syndrome, GONE!!!! My joints don’t hurt anymore. I’m happier, I want to play with my kids from when I get home till their bed time now, I’m helping more around the house!!!! I’m a body builder without abs, I could never lose that little bit of tummy fat, I HAVE ABS NOW!!!!😃✌🏻

I was on Keto for about 2 months and loved the results. A couple of weeks ago I had oral surgery. The doctor told me to eat only soft foods: mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, applesauce etc. I did not want to ruin my diet so I ate hummus, peanut butter and greek yogurt. I also could not exercise. I regained a significant amount of weight again. Now I'm back on Keto and exercising but I can't see any positive results. How do I get back into ketosis and start losing weight again?? Please advise!!

I was so skeptical before I started when I heard “no cravings”, 65 lbs down in 5 months and NO cravings for things I thought I’d always love, especially bread, and all I can say is it’s completely true! Listen to Dr. Berg ppl, his keto method works! And my experience is not organic/grass fed/etc. I wish it was, but it’s just too expensive. But you can still follow the rules.

That velvety green jacket is everything! Like 10 cups of green veggies a day - which I still can't do. But on keto I am eating more veggies than before (ok, within the allowed carb percentage)

Started this month to lose this fat and become the better me and I have lost 17 just from this month with working out and doing Keto went from 246 to 229 and my goal is 215 if you have doubt don’t give up I know you can do it 👊🏾

Hi Dr. Berg I'm one of the people you seem to be talking about. I started Keto 1 month ago and haven't had any real success as far as getting into ketosis fully and I'm still not sure what I'm doing wrong. I have lost 12lbs since I began, but I believe that is from the stopping carbs and sugar mainly and water weight. I have used the keto strips and they show only the pink light traces of ketones. I started off with IF because that was the way I already ate, so that part was easy, and I know I'm getting enough fat in my diet because my cravings went away pretty much after a week, and I can go a long time without being hungry in between meals. I only eat 2 meals a day and I use tuna as a snack if I need to, but I usually don't. I use the Carb Manager app and alway hit my macros, I love salads, that part is easy too! but after a month I'm still not fully into ketosis, let alone fat adapted, and I'm just very discouraged and can't figure out what I need to do anymore, after watching so many of your videos. But I don't want to quit!! I like how I feel now without all the carbs and sugar. I took your quiz and I am insulin resistant, so I'm wondering is that the problem? I've been doing everything you suggested and still nothing! Any tips and help would be greatly appreciated!

Dr you talked before about how potassium is " depleted " when facing trauma or when consuming too much carbs. Could you elaborate on this? and could you tell us what other things deplete potassium? Thx

I've been doing keto the right way (thought I was doing it before but realized it wasn't Dr. Berg's approved way) along with IF and I've lost 9lbs in 3 weeks and feel great! Thank you Dr. Berg for keeping me motivated every day!

Ohhh my gosh! 3 days of keto has sorted out a bout of CRIPPLING fatigue that seemed to come from absolutely nowhere! I am not overweight but my body has slimmed in a very noticeable way so I must have been inflamed from sugar?
I am HAPPY, I spring out of bed again and I am able to play with my children after a long shift at work. After 3 days I just find this incredible.
I think what had happened is my new years 'good intentions' had meant i stripped too much FAT from my diet and I must have been having too many carbs in my home made lentil soups?
