Demystifying ARA Part 1 | Nuendo Explained

In this video, Demystifying ARA - Part 1, Phil Pendlebury will give us an introduction to ARA Technology. We’ll look at what ARA is, how ARA works, and how to set it up in your Nuendo project.

In Part 1, we will focus on the basic ARA Controls. Where to find them and how to use them.

In Part 2, (coming soon), we will have brief recap and then show some practical examples using Wavelab 12 and Spectralayers 11 as an ARA process within Nuendo 13.

Phil has his own relaxed style of presenting and will show detailed walkthroughs and tutorials, assisting you to improve your workflow and sharing hints and tips along the way.

Great video! Got me to think if it is possible to setup the Wavelab editor as Standard-Audio Editor, so I dont have to turn on the extention manually. Doest anyone know if this can be set up?

QUESTION: If I process clips with the ARA extension using Auto Align Post 2, or Spectralayers and make the extensions permanent, will the new processed audio files that are generated retain all of the original time code metadata and file names from the field recorder? I would like to clean up and phase align my dialogue recordings before sending them to post for the picture edit. That would insure everything is phase aligned and clean if its and indie project and they never do a proper dialogue edit. Thanks for the great videos.
