As much as I enjoy Mr. Ryan's channel(s), it just shatters my heart to listen to the grief many of the world's most elite warriors, such as Mr. Satterly, must endure every minute of every day. You know an operator is solid when he's garnered the nickname "RamBusch." Rest In Peace Mr. Busch and Mr. Fillmore, so incredibly sorry for your loss Mr. Satterly. Respect!

Hats off to Satterly. I shed tears with this man during his telling of this story. God be with this warrior, and all his fallen brethren. Much love from Central Kentucky.

Went through the Q Course with Tom, always been a standup guy and professional.

First hand accounts of rebel/guerrilla tactics, really puts into perspective on why it’s hard to fight this style of combat. When the combatants have no rules but you do, things get complicated 😅

These stories are a reminder that freedom is never free. Its paid for in blood by men braver than us. Thank you Mr Satterly for your sacrifices, especially those you served with who made the ultimate sacrifice. You make me proud to be an American.

For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places

Ryan, you have done an excellent job documenting history.
All these guests deserve respect for their sharing these deeply personal experiences.
Just amazing Warriors

The lessons learned from that event are insane. 160th basically never flies during the day now and I never went on an op where the GF didn’t have nods, water, and speed balls for resupply on the Helo. My TF buddies told me they kept a 240 on the birds to backup the miniguns in case of lost power. Daylight missions are never a good idea

Man, I'm sitting on the edge of my chair listening to this story. I was getting choked up when Tom was getting choked up.

There was a guy in my platoon who had been an M60 gunner on a Blackhawk during that Somalia ordeal. This guy was so messed up from it that if he didn't drink until he passed out, you could hear him screaming down the barracks hallway at night.

God bless Tom. I am beyond proud & thankful that these men are Americans. Husbands, fathers & freedom fighters. It gives me hope. 🇺🇸

Dude, the part about those Nightstalkers in the little-bird landing in the intersection and blasting MP5s out of the windows in order to provide immediate cover fire so that one shooter could drag off a buddy--just DAMN.

Please don’t take this as cringey, but because of the movie I have a visual aid for this story and it makes it hit so much harder
