Boss severely overestimated the computer competency of most people. This is simple stuff to some of us but completely foreign to many, especially boomers

honestly this is the worst thing about either version 1 or 2. The software connection to a computer should of been much easier for the end user, im going to try this vids instructions but I bought a Katana MK1 on day one and sold it for a mk2 right after and have yet to get the amp connected to my laptop. This is stupid. Ive had people try to help and no luck. Im 52 and have been a user of Boss since 1985, I expect a better experience from BOSS and hope future offerings arent like the experience with Katanas. Updating the amp is easy its the part i mentioned that isnt.

TO ANYONE HAVING TROUBLE:
DO EXACTLY AS HE DOES IN THE VIDEO!
It did not work for me because I brought the whole system folder into the Boss Katana folder. You MUST bring the contents of the folder as he does and NOT the folder itself!

Mine is never working idk why but every time I call for help the Boss service is absolutely clueless. Actually a lot more clueless the I am which makes me want to completely return this amp. Can someone please help me. I got this from Sweetwater bought the new ex pedal board and have no idea why it’s blocking me completely from using the tone studio. It is so heartbreaking but I’m going to have to go with a different at least useful option.
