In this math video lesson on Solving Rational Equations I solve the equation (a^2-4a-12)/(a^2-10a+25)=6/(a-5)+(a-3)/(a-5). This video discusses how to solve a rational equation (an equation with fractions) for a variable and check for extraneous solutions. #rationalequations #fractionequations #extraneoussolutions #algebra1
