After completing the Adapt Your Life class, I get the majority of my nutrition from protein. I am now a meat eater with 2 cups leafy greens, and 1 cup non-starchy vegetables daily. It is so simple. I am losing weight steady and feel great.

I love these type of videos being critiqued. Great explanation of her misinformed explanation Dr.Westman. You, Dr.Baker, and Dr.Berry have literally changed my life. Lost 40lbs. over the last year and gained enough confidence to correct my cardiologist about my need for statins and the role of cholesterol in my life. Thank you so much for helping me on this wonderful journey of being healthy !

I have been in the process of doing low carb/keto/carnivore, IF, since stay at home. Was a size 18/20 now 10/12. Feel great, more energy, joints don’t hurt as much. I teach preschool and and up and down all day. I am doing this for a healthy life and losing weight is just one part of the process. Also the slow process, low sugar/low carbs makes it so that my excess skin is minimal. (I 64 and been overweight seemingly forever). I figure it will take 2-5 more years for the skin to be really better. That’s okay. The rest of my life should be easier, better because of this way of eating. Blessings to all. 😸🌎🌻

My cardiologist is soooo old school! He’s younger than me but objects to my keto!
Actually I started my keto/IF journey nearly 4 years ago & got off ALL 17 Rx three years as of last month! Metabolic markers in great ranges. Still continuing to get optimal ranges.
Totally fat adapted, no hunger, absolutely no cravings and eat OMAD.

I get very frustrated with all of the hype over “plant based” BS! I’m a keto/carnivore & I have improved all of my health markers with this way of life. I have celiac disease so I don’t eat any grains, even corn causes me issues. A lot of plants cause problems with inflammation but meat never does. Unless, of course it’s breaded & deep fried in vegetable oil! 🤷🏻‍♀️

The only question people should be asking - are you super happy and relatively healthy? If yes, stay the course. If no, make changes, slowly, specific and deliberate.

I would imagine that a plant based diet does require much more planning and prepping since individual plants are a poor source of nutrition (eat the rainbow). Personally I would rather slam some meat/eggs twice a day than the hassle of 5 or 6 inadequate meals from plants. Eat the rainbow? Naw, just red…meat.

I'm on banting here in South Africa same as keto 59 yrs old and feel great I'm not that over weight about 12 kgs and is already 2 sizes smaller and it's 3 and a half months our dr is Professor Tim Noaks lover your videos Doc 🇿🇦🙏

I've lost 30 pounds in 4.5 months, and that included a three week cruise on Viking, and Thanksgiving/ Christmas! It is super easy to eat keto in the "World Cafe" on all Viking ships. The chefs will even fry your eggs in butter, rather than oil.

Switching to keto and intermittent fasting reversed my prediabetes, insulin resistance and fatigue that the SAD American diet caused ! I cut out sugars, vegetable oils, grains, carbohydrates all possessed foods and it saved my health ! I wished people like the women in the video would keep their uniform opinions to themselves !

Lots of people out there think you only eat meat on keto. That's the carnivore model/diet. 40% carbs is not even close to low carb or keto. Is anyone doing a review of these studies BEFORE they are published? At least then they would have a chance to get the terminology right.

40% carbs is low carb/keto? No, that just completely nullifies this "study, " as does the fact it's observational, the least credible type.
