How to cancel your YouTube Premium or YouTube Music Premium membership

Follow these steps to cancel your YouTube paid membership. If you cancel your membership during a free trial, your trial membership will no longer be automatically rolled over into a paid subscription at the end of the free trial, but you will continue to have access until the end of the trial period.

Never signed up for it. Why was it force changed? And does not give me an option to deactivate either.

I had 3 subscriptions for 3 different email addresses. Make sure you check all your sign-ons for each google gmail account. Then check activity and manage subscription, then cancel. If there is no activity for that particular email, then check the others. That was the key, knowing which email was associated with the YouTube Premium account in Google.

Dude it just gave me yt music premium and is going to make me pay for it when I did not even agree to have it. All I did was downloaded yt music.never agreed to premium. It automatically put me in it and now wants me to pay money. This is fraud. It should have told me that I was downloading yt music premium b/c I would not have downloaded it

So nobody knows how to get out of this? I hit the button by accident and it will not let me cancel. Its saying I have a free trial membership but it is also saying that I am not a member, so does youtube have to charge you before you can cancel??? I am very upset

I found out these steps don't work for mobile, you have to go down to the refund policy and cancel it through there. By doing a refund it automatically cancels your free trial. If you see benefits will end in date, you got it correct.

hi, I just got an email that tube premium is going top to $18.99 but that I can cancel via the tube app and sign up again via google website and its only $13.99 per month (wow that's a big difference ) my question is .. if I do this will I lose all my downloaded podcasts, videos and music? thanks
