On Tuesday the day got away from me and I had about 60 minutes to train BACK & BICEPS. So I gave my back a solid 40 minutes prioritizing compound movements like pull-ups and rows and with 20 minutes left for biceps I decided a huge superset was my best bet.

Three exercises, high-volume and very little rest.

Let’s just say by the end I couldn’t move my arms and they are still sore even typing this now. But I do my best work when in a pinch and so I wanted to share this killer superset for all of you to try on your next BICEPS DAY!

SUPERSET
1️⃣Reverse Curl:[12 - 15 REPS]
2️⃣Alt. Dumbbell Curl:[6 - 8 REPS]
3️⃣Wide-Grip Barbell Curl:[12 or FAILURE]

⏰Rest 30 -60 seconds BETWEEN sets!

🧬 Sore biceps feel great, but they need proper nutrition to recover fully & GROW! So make sure you’re not slacking on your protein intake! Don’t forget when your about to burn out the bicep to slow down your movements, holding while slowly releasing the down curl. I also like to try a squeeze a few micro curls around half way down on the curl motion. Super burn!

Preacher curls and Reverse curls are the only two things that I struggle on pull day. Maybe, I'm not strong enough.

I still have never understood alternating curls. No other exercise would you allow 2-3 seconds rest between every rep ??? With no tension

Switch em. Keep them both moving. Or do all on one arm then the other

Goes against every weight training principle

Why not do regular curls. This is a bit pointless with the reverse. Do bicep pull-up.. this will definitely hit the forearms

Was that less weight on the easy bar, excuse me, easy baaah for the third exercise? And why not 2 minutes of rest? That would have only taken 3 more minutes overall and you wouldn't have to decrease the rep numbers from set to set. Same pump, more muscle...? Discuss 😁

I’m new to weights when I do bicep curls do I squeeze as hard as I can at the top and squeeze on the way down aswell?
