#Volvo is on a mission to go completely electric by 2030. For 2022, their EV lineup is expanded with the first-ever #VolvoC40Recharge. It shares the same CMA platform as the XC40 Recharge, the new #C40Recharge is the first Volvo that is offered only as a completely electric vehicle. The 2022 #VolvoC40 also happens to be the brand's first coupified SUV and with up to 402 HP, dual motor AWD, and 226 miles of range, it should offer another competitive entry in the growing luxury EV SUV space. #Volvo #C40 #Recharge #XC40Recharge

Volvo plans to go completely electrified by 2025 and fully electric by 2030! This car is the second all-electric vehicle in their lineup and def one of the most stylish cars Volvo has done in long time. We dig the design, let us know your thoughts below!

I own the C40 Fjord Blue and absolutely love it day in and day out. Got a lot of positive reviews from family and friends. It feels super special to drive this (the first ever) to make it to the city where I live and the first in the South. I haven’t spotted a single one since I took delivery in January. I ordered it from the Volvo website in September and it took roughly 4 months to deliver to my local dealership. The guys did a fabulous job getting it ready within hours for my me to take it home. Flawless design, simple yet lovable interiors and the space for luggage and groceries is just about right for my family

I don't understand why you keep saying this is Volvos first fully electric car, when it is absolutely not. The XC40 Recharge was their first fully electric vehicle. I own one.

I learned to drive in my grandmother's C30. This has been my dream car since it was first announced. I hope I can eventually own one.

I applaud what they did here, electric and sustainable materials, i would buy just for that. Huge companies like Volvo could make a difference in our planet

I think it looks great. I’m just always surprised with how much these electric cars cost.

I really like it, wish it had a bit more range though.

This is a cool car. But what's even cooler is that UFO you caught on video from 28.19 to 28.41!

Even with the tax credit, this car is way too expensive. The interior looks nice but you can't even choose a light color variant to visually expand the space. The black interior and the small screen without anything interesting aside from the topography inserts means this car feels like a 40k car. But it's 60k. I could get a Genisis or a number of really good cars for the price. Also at 60k that range isn't enough.

Since these electric cars are going to end up being expensive for a while, manufacturers should always make them mid-to-top spec in terms of the interior and tech. This is an entry level Volvo with almost a 20k jump in price.

I usually hate on-screen HVAC controls, but it seems like Volvo did a pretty good job here.

I absolutely love my gas XC40 and PHEV XC90. I wish they brought more trim level options to the XC40 and C40 Recharge models. The lack of a shade on that roof is a total dealbreaker. The car would be uncomfortably hot after sitting outside during the day. They are a total blast to drive though.

Love that Palms to Pines curvy drive! Looks like a decent car but with compromises based upon it not being an electrified from the get-go platform.

Great review! Any idea when you would be able to review Mazda CX-50?

Only 226 miles range per charge? Disappointed.

I prefer an integrated screen in the dash. I think it looks way better even if its smaller than some of its competitors .

Kia is only cheaper if you don't count the $10k markup at pretty much every dealership in my area. GT line was nearly $70. Absolutely nuts. I'd get one of these all day before paying over MSRP for a car

Beautiful car! Sofyan thank you for all your videos, just a critique though, you tend to shoot your interiors into the sun leaving the interiors specifically below the windshield and most of the dash, console area in a darker shadowed angle.

I was torn between Ioniq 5 and this. Decided to go with Ioniq 5. Cheaper even with dealer markups, bigger interior and cargo space, V2L, and power shade for the moonroof. One more thing. Ventilated seat as well

I love the content you guys bring especially your EV videos. Thanks for always touching on the important aspects and bringing us the answers to the kind of questions people are thinking, but don’t have access to many of these models and therefore cannot see for themselves.

One small gripe: the wide/fish eye lens distorts the proportions of the vehicles and makes it hard to judge the shape/size. Could you perhaps correct it in post?

I really like the content you are trying to give us but doesn't like the execution of it.. I swear with better intro and better editing ( audio and video) this channel is going to be top notch..
Keep up the good work and really appreciate the effort you are putting here.. 💪💪💪
