Is the NEW 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge a better SUV to BUY than a Tesla Model Y?

FIRST DRIVE: The C40 takes a sport design and adds it to Volvo's EV platform for 2022. This EV is meant to compete against the Toyota bZ4x, Subaru Solterra, and Audi e-tron just to name a few. On the outside you will find similar styling to the XC40, but with a sportier shape. On the inside you will be greeted by a spacious cabin, 9in infotainment screen and digital dash. Powering the C40 Recharge are (2) electric motors that produce 402HP. Is the NEW 2022 Volvo C40 Recharge a better SUV than a Tesla Model Y?

Nice C40 Recharge I think Volvo did a great job. Just to drive home a point that neither the Tesla Model Y nor the C40 is perfect but it's a dandy.

Volvo/Geely is doing a great job on these cars. They have nice clean styling, decent performance, and are priced well enough to sell all they can make (which is not much because they have small production capacity).

Like many of us, I have been shopping around for a BEV for months now, given the price of gasoline and the C40 was the winner. I ordered it a month ago in Silver Dawn and it is to be delivered to the dealer next week or the week after. I can't wait to give all of those horses some exercise!

Love the style. Maybe next car. Got myself the Y because of the amazing boot and total cargo capacity compared to every other EV and as of now the superior charging network. Will be interesting to see what is to come in 3 years.

I'm sorry but if the "future" is 220 mile range then fried chicken is healthier than vegetables. Great looking car but it would've been better if it had a really efficient V6 or 2.0 liter 4 cylinder, and I wanna know how they came up with 60k for this thing, there are so many better options than this for 60k.
