Today I am making crispy delicious churros at home. Big thanks to my Tia for this easy recipe. The texture is crispy, tender and chewy all at the same time and perfect for dunking into a mug of champurrado.

⭐️CHAMPURRADO
⭐️PIPING TIP I used in the video
⭐️PIPING BAG
INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 to 1 1/2 cups (205 g) all purpose flour
1 tsp (4 g) baking powder
1/4 tsp (1.25 g) salt
2 Tbsp (24 g ) sugar
1 cup (236.5 ml) hot cinnamon tea (or water)
1 Tbsp (15 ml) cooking oil (I used grape seed oil)
3/4 cup (144 g) sugar
1/2 tsp to 1 tsp (1.32 g to 2.64 g) ground cinnamon
oil for frying
piping bag
metal piping tip Wilton No. 21
****TIPS****
After dough cools and sets for 15 minutes, put into a piping bag with a metal star tip.
Fry temperature should be close to 350 degrees F
Use kitchen shears to cut the dough each time after piping in to hot fry oil
