Halo Infinite's Max Rank Hero requires 9, 319, 350xp to achieve.
Each kill is worth 100xp, 180xp in BTB.
It will take roughly 90, 000 kills or 50, 000 in BTB modes.

Master Chief's armor is the perfect reward for max XP rank. It gives it a mythical feel and something that's great to see because you KNOW those players earned it (if not by being crazy good, then being crazy grinders that love Halo Infinite). Play a lot, get Chiefs armor. I wish they did similar "legend" cores for lower ranks (like even just older models of Master Chiefs armor). Some stuff shouldn't be available to purchase and should only be earnable.

My man really says husky raid is relaxing and can drop 90+ kills meanwhile every match I've played is my team leaving after we get spawn killed 80 times in a row 😂

If they started the progression system from the release date I would have been one of the first people in the world to have it. You have no idea how frustrating that is. To know that I have to grind another x amount of games for the achievement after already having almost 9500 matches.

Husky Raid is the only gamemode where I don't feel the pure cancer of SBMM when I play. It's so refreshing. Every match (almost) feels like a real struggle to see which team is better, it's rarely a one-sided stomp. I also get about 20 kills a match, sometimes 30ish, at the very least, 10-15. Capturing flags- always try it when you have thrusters or grapples to make you faster. It gets you 310 points pretty easily for taking and capturing the flag. Try to return your flag every chance you get- even if it's right by it's spawn, because it gets you 25ish points, which is a nice little bonus.
I'm about halfway through Silver and chugging along nicely after trying Husky Raid and playing a bunch.

Thing that annoyed me is I played a hell of a lot before the progression system then had to start again at the lowest rank when it came out

I've been ranking up pretty quickly on Firefight matches. So I've been doing that and am on gold private 2/3. So Now I know how much more I need to go, thanks!

thanks for this video and clearing up some misconceptions.
I thing i've been doing is swapping between husky and btb so i dont get locked out of matchmaking as often as I would sticking to one playlist, sbmm is the real killer of the grind

I like how Master Chief’s armor is the max “hero” rank since Master Chief is literally the hero of the whole Halo franchise. My favorite way to get XP is playing husky raid, it’s one of my favorite modes.

I just wish the 1 hour xp boosts worked for career xp as I have over 115 saved up plus I hope Firefight will have good xp per hour Stars when it goes live into matchmaking.

I do either really well or really bad every match, but I’m finally Diamond brigadier general so I’m getting there lol

When I play BTB my teammates never ever pick up the power weapons. So I hop in the banshee and die immediately, while the enemy banshee stays alive the whole round

Perhaps having double XP boost weekends that work toward the career progression could keep the gamers engaged more!

Rn Firefight is what I'm doing and it gets my rank fast since I'm mostly good player

but seriously this will take me literal years, i usually average around.. 5/10 kills each match (im very casual) it would take way too long, hopefully when firefight comes out it makes the grind a bit less tedious

I wish this specific chief armour was linked to campaign and other armours like the mk5 being max level hero

It’s kind of a tricky one for me .. game play isn’t as consistent for me because I’m based in South Africa so it throws me in high ping lobbies most of the time
