1:36:45 It did set the general character of American imperialism on a student trajectory though. Our imperialism was one of influence, military diplomatic, and economic, but not typically of profit conquest. We would conquer Puerto Rico, the Philippines, the territory to connect the east coast to the west coast, and Hawaii, but no matter how heavy our band (or boot) in Latin America, we did not conquer it, we did not take legal or political possession of it.

If only the allies didn't put such harsh measures against germany and punish it reasonably like here with France, maybe Germany won't become so radicalized
