How to fix Butterfly Keyboard Sticky Keys the Easy way!

Thanks so much! I used the corner of a heavy duty plastic bag and my spacebar feels optimal again. I have a 2020 MBA with a key like this and I was afraid to really mess with it. I took it to an authorized dealer today and they told me it would be 7-10 days and would probably involve a top-case and keyboard replacement. Now I found this video, ran a credit card around the key in question, and it WORKS!! Thank you!!

THank you! I had a problem with my MBP2017 with its spacebar. Followed your hack using the edge of a clear plastic folder. Worked like magic!

This method works pretty well, personally I like to use a .38mm guitar pick (perfect fit) and follow behind with compressed air as I clear out the channels and grooves.

Thank you so much for this, I knew this was going to be an issue when I bought this machine but I had completely forgotten about it over time and the keyboard had become my favourite keyboard to use until the shift key got sticky a few days ago, I thought I was going to have to go to apple but this trick fixed it in all of about 5 minutes. Solid. This worked great for me. For now my issues is with the left shift key and the fn key. The space bar hasn't caused much of a problem.

Excellent - Based on Luke's recommendations I used a business card which seems to have helped somewhat. Will keep trying until it's 100% effective
