I wasted my life when I was younger

Nothing we do matters in the end, and that is precisely why we are not shacked by the burden of expectations, the fear of eternal judgement or the failure to meet up to an arbitrary definition of what makes our limited time ‘not wasted’.

I don't worry what other people think at all and I didn't bother since I was teenager (but I was mobbed at school, never had money, so somehow I had to be careful and think a lot how to survive and "fit in". I worry about not having money, not being able to buy or even rent a house, about people I try to be in contact or good friends and they don't care about, because they're so self centered, I worry about not having lifetime partner. I worry about my parents health and about my cats. And I am in my 30'. Never gave a small, ekmh, ****, if someone liked my choices or of their opinions (if it wasn't dangerous for me, or affecting my work later)

makes me feels relieve to stay in my parent basement playing video games all day...i dont worry what other people thinks anymore, it feel liberating.

Exactly. Try to find out what you are naturally gifted at, and love doing. Or at least, care about. That what you should do. Many people waste precious youth in pursuing survival and not taking the time to aim for their actual talents and dreams. Don't let another person saying you're not good at something or whatever, deter you. Sure there are people who are on the wrong path. I mean, yes, be realistic about what you actually are good at, and what you actually are interested in. Like don't be a singer if you really don't sing well. But if you love expressing yourself then maybe you should be in the arts, but in a capacity thats actually something you are good at. Don't let someone convince you that you are ugly if you're beautiful. Believe me, people do that to people all the time. Learn who you are, what you value, what you want and then what you are gifted in. And it may be that you have to take aptitude tests. But learn it early. Life goes by very fast. Don't waste your time.
