No f’ing way would I be swimming around in that murky water. This comes from a born and raised south east Floridian. Take care and be safe.

Love the ocean and love sharks but at the same time this exact thing is what terrifies me about it.

Me, a Maldivian who has swam with dozens of sharks and i dont really fear the water that much, although when the water is that murky i would not go in! I recommend tourists to never enter murky water since there has been many shark attacks especially in murky water, and anyways theres nothing cool to see in the murky waters!! Stay safe

Why would anyone want to hunt these creatures? It looked dead. Leave them be.

This dude is Nuts. Swimming in deep water that is at the time, extremely murky and in an area known for having sharks. What could go wrong 🫤

That's fucked. Poor shark. Up North near Karratha (Australia) there's a massive shark "cage" (fenced in area) so people can swim out deep without encountering sharks but, at the same time, the sharks are also left alone and unharmed. These drum lines etc are a fucking cruel way to kill something when it's in its own territory. I've always said I'd never blame the croc/shark or want it killed if I get attacked. Most survivors in Oz don't want retaliation on the poor creature just doing what comes naturally.
It's their territory. Take measures to stay aware and safe when swimming. I have a LOT of sympathy for attack victims and their families but this drum line shit shouldn't be permitted. We have shark nets here but drum lines were voted against.

that shark was high nothing to worry about.

It's a caught shark. They put those things out there so big sharks are caught. It takes a special kind of idiot to swim near those.

Looks like a bull shark,
People forget outfront of Townsville and in Cleveland bay is the largest tiger shark breed ground in the southern hemisphere or maybe the world.
Biggest recorded caught on one of those drumlines act the exact island is 4.2m tiger.

I'm glad those drum lines exist, they are made mostly for security reasons and protect people, then you see this "smart" individual getting close to those nets that are dangerous and out of it full shark infested why would you swim close to those....?
