Save Gmail Emails to Google Drive

With Save Emails Google add-on, you can automatically download email messages and file attachments from Gmail to your Google Drive. The emails are saved as PDF files while the attachments are saved in Drive in their original file formats.

Dear God, FINALLY. I have spent so much time trying to find a way to get ALL of my emails from a label to go to my drive as a pdf. I found one that also talked about this sheet but the instructions on how to do that were severely lacking. This one explained step by step, and the emails are going to my drive as we speak. THANK YOU! I was about to lose my mind trying to find a solution without having to do it all by hand, one by one.

1:42 no 'message size' or 'has words' or 'doesnt have' are in the free version anymore. 'message size' is why i installed this. what happened to it?

also, anyone know how to strip out attachment in gmail once backed up?

Hi Amit, is there anyway to increase the time that the tool is looking at the emails? So let's say instead of every hour check it every 5 minutes?

Amit - This is a nice function. Is there any way to ensure that each attachment to each email is attached to each document in the resulting google drive file? The results right now only allow the emails as threads, which is fine, but then have the attachments in separate files. So, when I try to print out, I can print the email, but have to go looking for the attachment to that email. Is this possible using your program? Or perhaps I'm doing it wrong? Thanks!

Hi Amit. Very nice. Thanks. Do you have or could you create an app that prompts a user for each sent email to accept or decline an invitation to save that email as a PDF in a google drive folder? Could the user also then select the folder?

I'd like to do something like this with our real estate business where I save all the attachments from gmail messages that have a single label into a folder that has the same name as the label (perhaps a street address of a property). But, I have two questions: 1) is there a way to automate so that each time I create a new label in gmail, a new folder is created? Or, do I have to go back to the add-on each time? 2) What if I wanted all of the Google Drive folders to be subfolders of another folder, and I wanted to share that main folder with someone else? Would that work? Do I need to go to Zapier or IFTTT? Do I need to create some script to do this? Thanks!

as i downloaded extension, went thru process, created folder in Google drive, created folder for specific saved email purpose, after 1 done, i attempted to continue with more of the same. The free app came up instructing me that i am only allowed 1 free then i need to purchase. Can anyone tell me if this is correct because i rewind the video over and over and the video clearly says "Free app" ty

Urgent question - for some reason i'm now saving every single email and its totally taking over my g'drive. so much so that when i try searching for anything now it just shows a ton of emails. i need to stop it or cancel it. how do i do this/ please help.
