How to save a Gmail email in a Google Drive folder

This video shows how to save a Gmail email as a .pdf file and upload that .pdf file to a Google Drive folder. This can be done without any additional software and without Google Chrome extensions.

Is there a way to download bulk emails in a similar fashion?

For some reason this did not work for me. It downloaded a jumbled up page with missing parts of the email. I probably did something wrong. I am going to try it again. EDIT: After working on it I discovered that it would not save the file on my desktop unless I saved it in a folder! Thanks for the info.

Not exactly 'saving a gmail email' is it. You are saving a PDF in exactly the same way you would be if you printed content from any webpage to PDF and then uploaded it to email
