Great video.

I took up the electric guitar as an older beginner back in February 2016 (I was 47 at the time), I learned to play mostly AC/DC covers, and some Aussie pub rock), by watching and downloading YouTube videos. I did learn some songs from tab sites and a few by ear (I don’t have very good pitch). Please bear in mind, I’m only a rhythm player (lead guitar was too hard for me), and I practice on average about 1 to 1.5 hours every single day without fail.

The guitar is a difficult instrument to play, but very rewarding at the same time.

I took up playing guitar during the pandemic back in April 2021 before I turned 33 years. It wasn't easy first, but it's possible. And even today I'm still learning new lessons.

Great advice mate. Yeah I rememger us learning by ear from records and tape players. Tuff work but it did tune our ears to the different notes through repartition. Cheers🍻

Although my level is not nearly as good as yours most of my learning came from Youtube. Prior to the pandemic i took ten months of lessons and learned 4 chords and 2 songs but due to lockdown i had tk teach myself and found with a few strumming patterns and 6 to 8 chords you can play many songs.
