I took 2 semesters of classical guitar in college. I grew up playing piano and violin so reading music is something I have done as long as I have read the written word. I had about 6 years of playing the 6 string when I took the classes.
The problem I had was my teacher was a jerk. We just did not gel together. He did teach me a good finger picking technique but that is all I learned in the 2 semesters.
You are not a jerk and I wish I could have had you for a teacher. (I suspect I am older than you though so you were probably in middle school when I was in college lol)
I still love classical guitar. Metal and rock have there place and I do enjoy that to but classical is most fun for me to play and listen to.

Hi Brandon. It's amazing the status you have and developments you are making in the online classical guitar community. I think releasing the modules for purchase individually could be a good idea so that those who may need only certain lessons can still support the course without having to spend the full price.

I just bought my first classical guitar. it's gonna be weird starting from scratch, because I can't read sheet music for guitar and its a totally different style. I play many other instruments, but I never really tried to read sheet music for guitar, I just use tabs. I'm excited to start this new journey, and I'll have to check this course out. I have an archtop jazz guitar myself so I don't know how useful this course would be; but if I do ever get a legit classical nylon-stringed guitar, I'll check this out.

Hey I wanted to say I really really like this. I was planning on slowly going through guitar stuff with alot of overthinking as to what to do. I love classical and flamenco guitar but have fallen out of guitar in general. With all my previous experience, it seems daunting. However this is my perfect cup of tea :)
