In case you were wondering, yes, the 2020 Toyota Launch Edition Supra is pretty freaking awesome. However, like all vehicles, it's not perfect. So here are the five things we've discovered we hate about our MKV Supra!

Britney easy fix for your issues with supra: add low profile hood scoop and paint it black or racind stripes. Door lock fix bmw's use orings from local hydraulic's shop remove lock plunger mark high and low spots. Stack o-rings in this area. You can also use heat shrink tubing usually multiple layers. Horn change horn unit out for the bmw one you like or preferably a jeep one. Wind deflectors for buffeting. All these fixes are really cost effective but a pain on a brand new car. All first new models have issues. Next year's models will probably have addressed these issues. Hope this helps. We need more jeep content!!!

Well, now you guys own two of the 3 cars I do, just newer . Honestly, the supra is getting a lot of hate from the people who wouldn’t ever even consider buying one . I have a mkiv supra and i would love to own the A90. Its a very affordable, fun to drive, easy to tune sports car . If Toyota didn’t pair up with bmw to make this car a reality, it would have never been so affordable . The purpose of it was to have a car that more people could afford, not produce a supra for 120k and sell it to a few people. Keep up the videos! I don’t really follow any other channels but you guys always post videos that I can relate to so thanks for that ! You guys should come out to gridlife in Atlanta if you’re on the east coast end of August, different kind of party !

I don't think people hate the car. I personally don't, I just don't like the branding. I think they should have called it something else and leave the Supra as the legend it is.

Hey guy's. The reason for no remote start is that BMW claims you should warm up the motor and transmission at the same time by driving. It's hard on tranny for the motor to run when it's cold to warm up as the tranny is frozen, and stays some what frozen till it's in gear driving. I have many BMW's and have never heard that rattle from the door lock. Weard..my last Z4 never had it either. Just your luck I guess. I personally think when you get 2 great car companies together, they could build something super cool and not a car that still looks like Z4 and Supra mix. I like the front but the hood is plain for sure so fix it lol. Replace the dang horn to, Geeez

If it’s got so much BMW in it. Can you tell if they bothered fitting turn signals?

BMW does not like remote start. They think it leads to excessive idling and excessive idling causes dilution of the oil... or at least that is what I was told. I have lived without remote start on my primary vehicle for ever. I don't think it is a big deal, and I live where it can get very cold in the winter.

ok, lets just clarify a couple things... 1) Just having a new Supra on the market is like snow on Christmas morning. How long has Toyota let literally every company from Nissan to Subaru step all over them in the performamce catagory (yes I know there’s a brand called Lexus), we finally get an awesome sports car from them! 2) Green tea ice cream is THE best and anyone who disagrees can go eat the grass they think it tastes like 3) I love this video mostly becasue the first LiteBrite video I ever watched, like many I suppose, was the things we hate about our JL video and it takes me back to that. I was thinking about getting a JL and that and your next few videos after actually convinced me that I had to have one. Thanks Kev and Brit!!!

From someone who lives the life in Japan and now in the states. Tuning a car, body work ex. Making it go faster is a extension of yourself. Putting the wrench time. Knowing it was u that did the work. I bought a beat up 94 Supra and brought it back to life. That’s the OG tuner world. Shoot just slap a BMW sticker on that car.

I personally like the new Supra and Toyota left plenty of room for modifications to the basic architecture. The straight 6 is a great motor and should upgrade easily 👍

The new Corvette is gonna be a game changer!I just never liked the design of the BMW z4 so driving it wont help me..But hey it's yours so if you like it it doesn't matter..

Some might say I'm hating on the car but I'm really not. I think the car is awesome for the price and I think it looks great. My problem is that Toyota made this the new Supra. I have no problems with them working with BMW to develop a new sports car but this new Supra doesn't conform to what a Supra traditionally was. Supras have always been 2+2, open top option (T-top or targa), and 100% Toyota. The 2020 Supra is a fantastic car but call it something else. Just my own personal opinion and I'm not saying I wouldn't buy one. Let's see what Nissan does with the new Z, if they decided to develop one. If they do I hope they keep Renault far away from it.

Biggest problem with the Supra was it is about to have its lunch eaten by the C8.

Coming from someone who has not driven the '20 Supra, but I have seen one up close, I do agree that it is a gorgeous car. That being said, I don't think that the front is really that bad, at least it looks a lot better than the fugly Lexus vehicles front ends. The other items you mentioned are annoying for sure. I'd definitely get a better horn, and you could probably use a peice of electrical tape around the lock knobs? Maybe window vent visors may help the wind buffeting.

I was a hater on the new Supra until everyone shows its under rated in power. There is a video on the quality control Toyota/bmw took to build. Seems like a legit car.

Open up the lock switch hole and install a rubber grommet. Just open it up enough to where a grommet wouldn’t interfere with the lock. Still one of the best looking stock cars from the late 80 early 90 was the 300gt VR4
