When I was a kid we went back to Missouri for a visit and my aunt made a big lunch for everyone. I was amazed at the size of the kernels of corn in the dish, she about fainted when she realized she had pulled corn from the wrong field. I went ahead and ate it, tasted like plywood and chewed like cardboard. Moral to the story; don't steal corn.

For me, which of the two is bigger and more profitable is the sweet corn. First, sweet corn can be sold starting 68 days from planting, secondly, it has a higher price compared to field corn. I am also a farmer, and my channel shows my corn plants.

Is it all obvious to the non-farmer if a field contains sweet corn vs field corn as they drive past a field?
