Note for international viewers: An acre is slightly over 0.4 hectares, or 4 dunams (the dunam is an Ottoman unit of area measurement that was redefined in around 1900 to be exactly 1 decare (1/10 of a hectare)). Specifically, around 4014 m². A square with sides of 10 meters is 100 m².

Is there anything preventing you from taking a small amount of your yield, setting it aside and cooking it with lye, then grinding it up and making a grits porridge, or some central American traditional maize breads such as those now commonly called "corn tortillas"? (Indeed, have you ever done this? Or do I seem crazy?)
