I believe I was the person who got confused by the 3 year/30 day Metabo policy. Thank you for not only answering that question but for putting together this video/spreadsheet. It allows people to see how these companies operate and will hopefully help everyone spend their money on not only the best tools per their needs but also to companies that treat them well.

I dropped a Flex drill too many time and they sent me a new one within 3 days.

Tools and Tactics broke his Flex and like wise he had a new one.

I had to register the new one and the warranty continued

Metabo HPT is the brand I buy most now, the warranty is solid but I haven't had to use it because the tools are solid.
I had very good experiences with Dewalt before their local service center closed recently: Dewalt provided free inspection and service for the first year after purchasing a new tool. I took great advantage of that policy and they always fixed issues or upgraded parts free and fast.

What about companies that don’t stand behind their product or have none in stock at all local stores like husky and Home Depot? All you get is a run around and the satisfaction. Under for warranted is direct to apex for mechanic hand tools. We all know the customer service one receives from Apex 🚽

I've delt with flex tools warranty they are on top of there game replacement tool I beg to differ brother ok you lost me bring my Milwaukee tools in my dealer store and they ship it off and I get a call when my tool is ready with a new 5 year warranty if the tool is replaced after 3 repairs you get a new tool..
