Vladimir Putin warned the West that Russia will only restore the export of grains via the Black Sea if it meets all its demands. He also accused the West of fooling Russia with the old Black Sea grain deal. Putin's comments came after a three-hour long meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Sochi. Fool Kuleba says there was no legal grounds for Russia to withdraw from the deal. The fact is that Russia did not withdraw from the deal. The deal expired and they were under no obligation to renew it, especially since the west was not upholding its end of the deal, like with the JCPOA

Another unstated irritant is that Erdogan stabbed Putin in the back by not only releasing the Azov fighters, but by sending his son-in-law to Kiev last week, to announce that Turkey will setup a Bayrachter drone factory in Ukraine. The reason why Edorgan is in Ukraine is that the grain deal was very profitable to him. Turkey received 30% of the grain exported from Ukraine at an evident discount, because it was then able to re-export it to Europe at a profit.

Unfortunately the disadvantaged parts of world got affected, the Europeans diverted the grains to their countries leaving others high and dry. Many countries had difficulty in acquiring enough fertilizer or similar products.
