Russia sells cheap crude oil to India. India uses its own oil refineries to make petroleum. India then sells it on the global market. Once crude oil goes through the process in oil refineries, there's no way of knowing where it came from.

It's called re-sell. US sanctioned Russia asked the world not to buy directly to them. Then, US buy oil through middle person, who has also ties with US. Instant profit. Then re-sell those oil to other countries. More profit.
