I’m 73YO, and I remember these cars sounded like that, bone stock.
They came from the factory already cammed up and ready for battle.
The original 426 hemi was available in a street version or, if you had the bucks and the connections, you could get one that would rip asphalt for two blocks and not break a sweat.
The 426 hemi, the 383, 340, and the 440
were all bad to the bone.
As a Chevy guy, I speak this out of respect and admiration from a lot of
great memories of great bygone times.

70 charger R/T NOW THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL BADASS CAR ! The sound just screams " let's get it on !" One of my favorite years ! They just don't make cars like this anymore !

Imagine pulling into a city, filled with only self driving, electric cars and people who have never seen a vintage charger before, people who’ve never heard of the concept of a car you had to drive yourself, they didn’t know what gasoline was they didn’t know what an engine was or a steering wheel was.
