I'm amazed that a genuine 3, 000 year old artifact from ancient Egypt goes for so little. I'd would've just kept it for the novelty.

Wow, pawned off a 3000 yr old pc of gold jewelry that a family member cared for for his whole life... for a steak dinner. That's so terrible & so common, it's plain sad.

Imagine saving something your whole life, just to give it to someone who values a dinner more.

I get the gut feeling that ring is worth a heck of alot more. I would have tracked down a museum that specializes in that, that's a beautiful piece of history that should be on display.

imagine having a 2000-3000 year old egyptian ring and decide it worth less than a steak dinner i would’ve kept it as a family heirloom or something it’s a dope ring

I would never sell something like that. The woman who owned it has so sense of history.

She essentially traded a 3500 year old artifact for a couple of pieces of grilled meat.

“My beloved Father finally gifted me this ring his Mother gave him, shortly before his passing, but I’m thinking STEEEEAK!”

Rick offering $350 right off the bat is surprising, I was expecting him to offer $50

One thing I have learned over and over on this program is how easy some kids and grandkids sell out their family heirlooms!

Woman: “I want $1 Million.”
Rick: “I’ll give you $5.”
Woman: “We have a deal.”

That's crazy. I have an old coin from the 1800's and it's not really worth much but I've kept it for 35 years because I love the fact it was once owned by people from so long ago. To think they held it and passed it on to so many other people is fascinating to me.

I'd keep it, just the thought of who wore this ring and the time when it was made is worth more
