I have the original reed basket baby Moses used when he floated in the river.
Rick: You have any paperwork? Reed basket market is really slow these days and I'm taking all the chances here. Let me get my 'reed basket' expert in here so we can determine the real value. My expert says this is priceless, best I can give you is 100 bucks and a Circus Circus buffet gift card.
Now that's a legit deal.

i absolutely loved that ancient Roman coin!
another interesting tidbit of information, the "ides" in every month of the old Roman calendar were the designated period when payments for debts and rent were due.
i've always thought this aspect to be interesting, the seer warns Caesar "beware the ides of march" knowing full well thats when payments are expected ...

Amazing that one fellow came in with those lithographs wanting $35K but did not have them in a protective valise or case to protect them when walking around with them.

Actually as a Disney collector that book was more along the lines if between 10 thousand and 15 thousand. Walts alone goes for 5 or 6 thousand. And then adding the 9 old men, wow!

My friends late father went to Schenley with Andy Warhol, my friends father used to tell us that he was just as eccentric then as he was till the day he passed.

It doesn't take a year to get graded and encapsulated. And Rick does not take all of the risk in expensive items.

£20, 000 was a ridiculous low ball, on a good day he could find a private seller and get that for one.

$110, 000 was a fair offer for that coin if the Appraiser estimate was accurate.

The reverse was amazing, but the obverse was badly off-center.
