I had appendicitis like 7 years ago and they did an ultrasound and then a scan of some kind I don't remember what scan because they couldn't see anything with the ultrasound

How if we dont have such bed to tilt the patient? Can we use pillow that can be inserted under the back (gluteal region) of the patient?

Thanks, does the radiation associated with CT scans for possible appendicitis lead to cancer in vulnerable parts of the body later on such as thyroid, breast, pancreatic, colon cancer etc?
