I commented on your last video about the need for two-way understanding. On reflection I think autism is far less understood and would have included myself in that before I found out I was autistic. From what I have read we get about 25% of NTs non-verbal communication and about 70% of their communication is non-verbal! So please NTs, explain things clearly to us and we'll have much better understanding of you and also we'll be less confused.

Okay but like how the hell am I supposed to know how someone feels if they don’t communicate it to me
I think NT communication like that be passive aggressive and is probably why folk like me mask to hide that we can’t figure that shit out but also I could never figure that shit out and bluntly have been I cannot read your mind wtf is going on

Alright, coming from an autistic person, yes, we do have struggles with COGNITIVE and PREDICTIVE empathy with neurotypicals. For me, since autism is a spectrum, I have a short-term empathetic memory. This means in moments where I feel cognitive empathy, I forget it unless the event happens over and over again throughout time.
