Price rises alongside quality but they arent paralel in fact there is a sweet spot in pricing where you get most quality per price after that drastic increases happens in price, quality improves after that increase but your quality/Price ratio decreases

Expensive doesn’t mean best. I used to work at Home Depot in paint and the PPG paint was cheaper than Bear but it holds up way better. Bear is a more expensive paint. Expensive doesn’t equal best.

As a starter photographer I have been using a Nikon D90. Not at all fancy but i love it. The CCD sensor is awesome and I love the colour it produces. You don’t need an expensive camera to start with. You just need to be willing to put in hours to learn how to shoot photos.

For any beginners out there I personally started with a canon 7D (a high end camera from 2009) second had as they go for dirt cheap and are still extremely good today if you are a beginer

The best camera best is a GFX100s, a nonno Z9 or the 150mp phase one, but it depends on your needs

For those looking, the Nikon Z6II is probably the best budget mirrorless camera you can get at the moment. The kit lens it comes with is critically acclaimed and exceptional, and the camera is easy to use and takes incredible photos and videos.
The non S series lens lineup is affordable but is lacking a bit selection wise, but Nikon has promised many more options in the coming months. The ones that are available though are very affordable and offer insane detail for the price.

For those who want a little more selection in the lens ecosystem, the Sony A7III is a great option. It's not as great as the Nikon Z6II, but for the price you can find one for, it's an absolute steal. The A7IV didn't really upgrade much worth considering, and the A7III has everything that counts. It is a great camera and the Sony lens ecosystem is large and very affordable.

For both cameras, you can easily get started for under $2, 000 everything included. The Z6II will cost a bit more, probably at the $2, 000 mark with the kit lens, but the A7III can be found on places like Facebook marketplace for $1200-$1500 including lenses.

Best in my opinion, is determined by price to performance, because with most technology the jump in price has diminishing returns.

I started with a Nikon d5200 with a 35mm prime lense and a Telezoom 70-300 is good to get started got that equipment for nearly 400 euros, I can recommend it for beginners to learn manual shooting
Now I have my Sony alpha 7 III and I’m very happy with it
