Great video! 😀

I understand your point why not all tasks would not be in right place in task manager, like Todoist. The again, I like to have all of my tasks within one tool, so I do use Todoist for my reading list, movie watch list etc. For me, it's much easier to see all "tasks" in one place instead of jump around between multitude of tools. The use of filters and views makes this very easily manageable.

Now a days todoist increases their price tag so I am going to ticktick. By the way your video is great for productivity

Great advice! I have several of these redundant tasks in my lists that really ought to become routine prompts. Thanks for this video!

Very good tips. It makes total sense to not overload yourself when this is for a to do list, not other stuff. I especially like your idea of having a “today” folder in your email account! I’m gonna have to try that this week!!!

Bulls Eye. Exactly the challenge I'm facing everyday. One of newly added task in my ToDoist is to shift all due task tomorrow or next week and I'm building another Everest probably. Thanks a ton Carl to address the issue. It is very difficult sometimes to define task that should go into the list.

This was very timely - over time, my personal Todoist had become a dumpster fire of stuff that shouldn't have been in there, and I'd noticed that I just wasn't using it anymore. I've now radically pruned it back and moved a load of non-tasks to Evernote.

Now I just need to do the same for my work Todoist **whimpers**

A great video as always, Carl! One question- how do we set up the today’s focus filter to show the 3 priority sections? Perhaps there is a video on it and I missed it? Thank you 🙏 in advance

I’m trying out and having some fun with Todoist for a few weeks. To be honest, I really like it 👍🏻

I like to capture videos and articles to todoist so that I can schedule them to a day I want (if I want to take notes on something, this becomes a real task). If I don't do this and save this type of stuff on my note taking app of choice (obsidian) I often forget to process them and when I remember there's a huge list.

This video is more than awesome.
Your brain is really great in answering questions. If the question is, what are all the things I have to do then the result will be an enormous list of which 95% is usesless

Thank you for the tip to use Evernote's web clipper. I could use that feature instead of saving articles to my Todoist.

Hi Carl, I'm intrigued by the Time Sector system but I'm confused about the options: It seems that system is PART OF the "Your Digital Life 3.0" course. But then it also exists as a standalone course. If I get the YDL 3.0 course, would I be missing important things from the Time Sector course?

Happy Sunday! Any reason for clipping your "read later" material to Evernote...instead of say...Pocket...or Instapaper? I have a similar workflow to yours (Omnifocus instead of Todoist) and have been using the EV clipper ad nauseam 😊 and i am now trying to replace it with Pocket (been playing with it for a few days), which seems to work very well and also offer "text to speech" for my morning walks. Curious to know if you have an opinion on that. Thanks for the another great vid!

I have a question. Do you track/keep some of your subscriptions in your Routines folder? At least I have some apps/subscriptions I always forget the date I need to renew (or I like to get a reminder) when I have to pay for the renewal. Or du you keep track in another app/email?

What are your thoughts on the Pocket application?

I was just curious as to what sort of tasks you'd use Evernote Tasks for?!
