This is the best advice. I went through two marriages thinking and hoping I found someone who truly loved me. Come to find out it was only for my money or that they wanted me to be a super religious person and I would change for them.

I loved them and wanted it to be true, but sadly I just ignored the signs because I just wanted to be loved so bad each time and felt that was the only person who would love me.

I am glad I have my two kids and that is the only love I need in my life.

I don't think wishful thinking is a bad thing. You just have to recognize that that's what it is, and that it isn't actually reality. I think wishfully a lot, but it's wishful. I know it isn't real. If you think wishfully all the time and completely ignore reality, you're either lost in the clouds or in a state of denial.
