We know that many of you have asked for subtitles, let us know what you think! Do you want them on more vids?

EDIT: To all those who said Master Oogway from Kungfu Panda, you are worthy of being the next dragon warrior. 🐼🐢

I can relate to nearly all of them. The best thing I do when I overthink is when I start to overthink, I open up a notebook and start writing down what I’m overthinking about. Basically mental dumping it on to the paper. I write down anything until I can’t think of anything else. Then I put that sheet in a binder and I eventually look at it. And there’s times I even scratch out items on that list.

TYSM'! whenever I pray, i get distracted and thoughts suddenly flood in. Luckily, i notice that and then go back to praying. I definitely needed this video to stop this habit that has been slowly developing 😢

As someone who suffers from really bad analysis paralysis, I think these tips will be very helpful, so thank you. P.S. That quote is from Master Oogway in Kung Fu Panda.

It is you that gets to sculpt your life. It is you that decides who you want to be. You have held the key this whole time.

Which means the time for waiting is past. There is no one coming along that is more powerful than you. You are the one to set things in motion.

Know that you have had the power all along. Take yourself seriously. Know that you are truthful. Step into that self you wish to become and feel the support of millions across the Fabulous world as you create the life you wish to lead.

I've went to my guidance counselor and talked to her about my overthinking many times. She gives me coping skills that I would use though I often forget to do them.

Not only that, but I am also afraid of doing it because I tend to overthink what I write down on my journal, like my angry rant about how I was mistreated by my groupmates or that I wrotr how I hated myself for being this anxious, overthinking, and insecure person I am

I’m struggling so much with overthinking every day. The tip that helps me the most is either keeping myself busy or try to relax. I mostly overthink when I’m alone aswell.

Thanks, this video gave me reassurance that I’ve been taking the right approach to coping with my anxiety fueled overthinking. Even learned new aspects to consider, like scheduling time for those thoughts, and forgiving myself for having them.

That last point, of confronting my intrusive thoughts, resonates with me lots! I’ve been trying that one specifically for a while, talking through such worries in an objective and nonjudgmental manner. I can think of a scenario like when a friend takes a while to respond back to a DM and my thoughts start to race. Thinking they were offended, or I brought up a very touchy subject that upset them. Then I talk through it, saying to myself that they’re most likely busy on their end, and they’ll respond in kind like normal when they can. Every time that ends up being the case, and I tell myself “see? No need to worry about that! I’ve yet to do anything that warrants such a response!” Finding myself starting to calm down soon after.
