DIY: Cleaning Dirty Fuel Injectors (Easy & Cheap)

If you dont want to deal with having to send your injectors out to get cleaned, this is the cheapest and easiest way to do it yourself. No need for any fancy machines. Ofcourse this is not the professional way to do it, but if you have the assumption an injector is clogged, give this a shot before buying new ones.

A helpful hint when shrinking heat shrink with a lighter.. The hottest point of the flame is the tip so the shink tube will activate quicker.. Also it doesn't hurt to mention to get marine grade shrink tube so it glues itself to the rubber hose better than standard heat shrink. I only bring this up for the newbies out there..

We never learned whether or not #1 was clogged. You totally left me hanging. I have OCD and my entire evening is ruined. Other than that great video guys. I'm about to clean the injectors in my dodge ram with quarter of a million miles. ✌🏻

You should have bought just a valve stem & used that, you never said what you found like you said you were going to ?

I think this job is all wrong. It does not make any sense to clean the injector making it inject carbo clean just like it does when it injects fuel... try conecting those little hoses upside down to the injector, So if there is dust inside the injector, this will come out through the hole where the fuel comes in.
