This one does not have CVT :) it is just regular 6 speed automatic gearbox. The CVT is within the Hybrid models. And they do not even get closer to this. CVTs have very unpleasant sound :)

at 10:20 that's when i knew Jamie does not know his cars that well the only GS model with CVT gearbox for this generation was the GS450h...

the GS300 and GS430 where all 6 speed standard automatic gearbox.

Thing is. You had that Lexus for a while. You could of easily done this to yours, but you didn't. I don't think you have the ability/vision or the foresight to modify a car properly.

I don't get the point of lowering cars. It ruins its daily-use usability, speed bumps, parking on curbs, can't go on unpaved approach roads and, personally, looks pretty dumb.

About to buy a white 2007 GS300 in the coming months. Plan on putting 20 inch concave 5 star wheels with coilovers, tint the windows, and install a 10.2 inch telsa style head unit from Phoenix. That's it. People sleep on these cars. Cheap as shit, way ahead of its time, and will never let you down. Plus easy and very cheap to fix if anything goes wrong. Currently driving a MK2 GS300. Never had a problem with it in 8 years and the car is 18 years old.

I’ve just got a low mileage, 2 owner, GS300. Really happy with it. Got a set of BC Racing coil overs on order. The 3L v6 has 250bhp. If the v8 has less than 300 then the v6 makes a lot of sense.

I took off the racing cats because I got reffed. Still sounds good though with the resonator delete connected to a HKS axle-back. I’m on tanabe DF210s but the stock shocks are shot, so the plan really is to install air suspension later on. Getting offers but I don’t think I would wanna let go because it’s comfy for a daily driver. It also gives enough punch from the 4.3L to make smile.

I had the 06 version of the same car in the exact same colors; interior and exterior. Kinda a shame it got totaled but also I'm kinda lucky since I wasn't at fault and was trying to sell it at the time and insurance paid out better than any buyer probably would. Thanks for the blast from the past!
