She was ugly af. I don't know wtf I was sad about.

On a real note tho, when I wrote this I was a heartbroken mess. I was a suicidal, depressed junkie who closed himself from every imaginable thing. The bathroom was my new home because it felt like a place of respected privacy, I only left to eat and go to school. This song kept me going because of the "hope' he sang about. Even though he's hoping for her. If she can move on, then one day I could too.

That girl that i thought was the one left me too. Her mother reassured me that i was the best man she ever had and that she would love if i could continue to stay friends with her daughter( I declined). I learned that sadly, it doesn’t matter how good you treat a woman/man, nothing guarantees that they’ll stay. I always thought they would nvr leave if i didn’t give them a reason to. No. Regardless of what you’ve done, it’s always their choice. That being said. When I originally wrote this comment it was about some other girl. That heartbreak doesn’t even compare to this one. Everyone thinks they went through the worst heartbreak until another one comes and says “lol hold my beer” But I got through that too. Definitely still think about her sometimes. But i learned how to live life happily without her. So my new advice. Nvr assume that everything will end well. It’s just not a safe game to play. That doesn’t mean don’t love her/him to ur fullest. Just this is reality and relationships fail more than succeed. So nvr prioritize them over yourself. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY. Stop being so hard on yourself. I used to hate the fact that I missed them. Like omfg why can’t I just stop thinking about her. It would make me angry. You will nvr forget about someone you loved. But you will learn how to be happy without them. It’s natural and happens with time. So don’t rush it. It was until a few months ago that i didn’t think about her every single day(no exaggeration). Life has to adjust. You can’t just expect to not think about it when a huge chunk of your life and happiness was removed without warning. Keep pushing. Used the sadness to grind. I finally got money towards my name. Drives a cool ride. Make music. And I am a silver 2 in Apex Legends. And yes I’m having fun and happy. hopefully another lady will come my way. But I think for the most part I’ll be ok if it doesn’t happen.

Bruno, when this came out I was homeless, in and out of jail, and unhealthy. Now I have a house, a good job, and a husband. This song and “Clover Cage - The Secret Of Life” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together. I love you 💕
