What If Aliens Really Exist?

The question of The Fermi Paradox: Do aliens exist? Are we alone in the universe? For centuries, humans have speculated about the existence of extraterrestrial life. We imagine strange and colorful life on distant planets. We tell stories about alien civilizations pursuing interplanetary dominance. But what are the chances of extraterrestrial organisms existing somewhere in our galaxy? If aliens do exist, why haven’t we encountered them before?

If you have watched The Expanse, you know how terrifying and breathtaking the idea of advanced alien civilization is. Still, for me, it feels naive to simply dismiss the possibility of alien life when the life on earth itself is based on one of the most abundant element in the universe.

I'd like to see it discovered during my lifetime even if that's just microorganisms

It's crazy to think that life took more time to evolve into the first multicellular organism than it took to evolve into this vast kingdom of complex life.
Awesome video, content and art. Please leep this great work!

Amazing content as usual! Alien life seems to be the most exciting thing to discover all across the universe and at the same time the most horrifying one too.
Truly excellent job!

This channel, Koranos, Kurzgesagt, Astrum, and Destiny are my favorite space/science channels. ❤️❤️

this is why i love almost every scifi story and narrative that explores alien life, FF14 did amazing in their Endwalker DLC, its just a little dissapointing to me that they clearly did their research into most speculation about alien life, from things like referring The Dark Forrest theory, The Fermi Paradox, The Great Filter, and it kinda went over 90% of the players heads im sure. But at least it may have peaked someones interests to look into those concepts further.

Why the name change? Just curious, because I didn't recognize the channel that popped in my notifications as it wasn't Koranos

the scary thought that we are alone in this cold void is very unsettling..

I don’t think people quite understand the vastness of space. Even in the case of the closest stellar object to us ( the moon), something most consider “close” to us, yet you could fit every planet in the solar system in between us and it. Space is unbelievably big. If life is out there it is probably so far away, and so unconcerned with us, and so incapable of finding us that it might as well not exist at all. Humans are the result of several near extinction events, a complete evolutionary oddity only asking the question because we are able to.

There’s a possibility that I haven’t seen discussed yet as far as I know: If there are other civilizations out there, they might be on the same level of technology as us, + or - 100 years or so of development.
