I have several large cracks going right across my screen but when I switch on the laptop the picture is absolutely perfect. Is there some kind of protective screen over the main screen ? There's a thin rubber seal going up the sides and across the top of the screen. There are three Phillips head screws visible at the bottom left and right corners of the lid assembly under the screen. I'm reluctant to start pulling it apart as, apart from the cracks that disappear when it's powered up, It's working perfectly.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Did you have any problem sticking the bezel back? I need to replace my screen but I don't know if it's necessary to buy a screen replacement and the bezel.

1) whats the name of the software at the end of the installing process, you used for checking the data about the panel? 2) did you actually put the screen sticker back on? was that easy?

i ordered a fhd panel for my t440s and am looking forward to having a nice display.
