I know this video is old but I want to say thank you soooo much, I literally fixed my own laptop screen, I didn't even think I could do it because I know nothing at all about fixing computers. after getting an estimate of $193.00 dollars at the repair shop, I decided to try it for myself. I just went on eBay, found a screen that match the model I had and I ordered it, 3 days later I installed it myself and it worked. and it only cost me $44.00 dollars. The lesson I learn is I will never sleep with my laptop next to me with my headphones in between the keyboard and the screen because I will roll over it and crack the screen.

I changed out my laptop screen in 20 minutes. I watched videos on how to change it and followed the instructions. It did not cost anything because I already had the same brand, different model, laptop that was fried and outdated, that I kept for spare parts. My newer laptop (same brand, different model) screen was busted, so I changed it out with the older model, works like a charm. My advise, stick with the same brand when you buy the laptop that you like. When it is outdated or breaks, keep it for spare parts.

I was about to drop $125 to have my screen replaced at a shop, but after viewing your video, I couldn't believe how easy it was. I just ordered my replacement screen on Amazon for $50.00. With the mooolah I just saved, I now get to buy myself a little something extra for Christmas. Cheers!

I finally did this and it worked! My brother had the same model laptop, and his died so I just transplanted the screen. Don't let the skill level; advanced, thing scare you. It was quite easy. The main thing is trying not to damage the LCD's connector thingy while removing it. If I did it, you can!

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH I CAN FIX THIS cause I accidentaly dropped my moms laptop and the screen is broken. But with this tutorial my mom won't be mad at me and the laptop screen will be fixed.
