Another example of why rec players screw themselves trying to manage a thousand different steps and mental checklists instead of learning to hit the damn ball properly.

Very intersting, but, talking about beginners or intermediate players who are not used to use the legs, they don't explode but they serve almost still, i usually suggest them to slow down the first part of the movement and from the trophy position to speed up.

Wrong diagnosis here by this coach, early racquet drop has nothing to do with the toss ball height, it is a bad behavior a player does in serves. Quite a few atp and wta pros did early drop when serving. One extreme example is a pro player started serving from the lowest racquet drop position.
