+alexashapiro I'm thinking about upgrading some time in the next two years.. at the moment either C100, BMPCC or Panasonic GH4k.

and a follow focus is somewhere near the bottom of my wishlist, I think it would slow me down when changing lenses..

I have fallen absolutely in love with filmmaking and the science around it, due to channels like yours, film riot et al. I have no base and no equipment as of now but want to start off. Can you suggest me what camera I should start off with and a few other basic essentials( if needed), to make a primitive 10 min short film maybe. TIA and keep rocking :)
