I believe I watched this video a year ago. I became envious because I couldn’t have this set up and didn’t have the finances to have the setup I wanted. I’m watching this video a year later. New to podcasting...I have a few questions.
How are you recording long form videos with the sony cameras?
Do they force you to stop every 30 minutes or so?
Are you having to piece together clips? Do you record the whole video ?
Are you recording the whole podcast on the phone as well?
Are you cutting down the footage for youtube shorts / tiktok in editing software or just on the phone?

Started video with Panasonic cameras but the Sony cams work so well with podcasts.

I have a Sony A6400 with a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 lens, and I’m planning to start shooting talking head videos indoors. I’m considering replacing the Sony A6400 with either the Sony FX30, Sony A6700, or Sony A7C II, but I’m totally confused about which one to choose. I haven’t shot any videos yet. Should I upgrade the camera and lens now, or wait a few months until I build a base audience for my YouTube channel before upgrading?

Awesome video and setup! How do you sync all the camera angles to match together along with the audio???!!!! I always thought you had to hit record on each camera at the same time for them to match up 😂

1st time here, excellent video. I started a podcast 3wks ago, dont know alot but i just started. I record on my pjone upload to buzzsprout and podcastle then to youtube for video. Have a monocaster machine but dont know how to work it yet. I'll just doing this way until i learn better or get help.
