I rub olive oil on both eyelids after every wash (morning, night) and it makes a HUGE difference with treating my dry eye.

I found that just washing my hair more often really helped! Plus keep the eyelids clean.

I had blepharitis few months ago. I got infected in a SPA treatment; the infection firstly hit one eye, so thatI went straight to the eye doctor - she prescribed me with an antibiotic + a cream to put in the eye few times a day. After 2 weeks the infection got to the other eye - the same eye doctor told me to do the same also for this eye, meaning cream in the eyes 3 times a day. After a month the situation was slightly better but not solved. The eye doctor told me that I'll have to have a surgery to remove the excessive "bubbles" on my eyelid. Scared of the surgery (4 days before that), I started to apply a mixure I created - Olive oil extra virgin together with coconut oil unrefined 100%. In 4 days, the bubbles and the infection went away. Additionally I presented myself at the doctor appointment, she checked my eyes and she sent me home :) Since that moment, I started to use my mixure at least twice a week. Blepharitis didn't come back since then. I highly recommend :)

I just recently developed blepharitis a few months ago, I believe it was caused by my eye makeup. I noticed the more I would wear eyeliner, after removing the liner, the lids along my upper lash line would swell. I’ve stopped wearing eye makeup for about 2 months now, and they’re still swollen. I’ve tried hot compresses, antibiotic spray, anti- swelling cream, and coconut oil. Nothing seems to make the stubborn swelling go away. I’m only 23 so I’m hoping that this isn’t something that I will be dealing with lifelong

Hot water compress with a clean white face towel makes a good compress. Use a fresh clean square face towel each night. Just a few minutes each night can help a lot.

Thank you for this info . I developed blepharitis after a detached retina ( surgically repaired 🙏), though it was years of suffering before I was told what it was .
A solution was using baby shampoo, which did help minimise it, but not clear it up .
Let’s hope the fish oil does it .
Thanks again 🙏

I've been fighting it for years. Seems like cold weather really triggers it. I like the extra strenght Occusoft wipes with the leave in moisturizer. Really helps get the dry skin under control. I use the Occusoft heated eye mask for my eyes year round- usually at night before bedtime. I wish I knew a sure way to make it go away forever. It's been a pain for years now for me.

I have been to 4 different eye doctors over the past year. My eyes have been bloodshot and painful for a whole year. Not one doctor told me about fish oil or eye lid cleaner. They all just prescribed me steroids and antibiotics, then sent me on my way. It would clear up for a week and come right back. I have been so frustrated. I did some research and diagnosed myself. I went out and bought me some Thera tears omega3's and some eye lid cleaner. My eyes haven't felt this good in a long time.

Thank you for the information! This is very trivial but will I have to stop wearing makeup/eyeliner/eyeshadow?

I don't wear makeup, put my hair in a bonnet, wash my face, eyes, day and night, and have since I was a child. Have rarely worn makeup. I do everything you say in this video, to no avail.

This is dietary, and a gut issue. Oxalate, too.

Mine recurs when I eat carbohydrates, sugar, etc and goes away when I eat high-fat carnivore. I eat lots of fish on my carnivorous diet.

Thank you for reminding me about taking my fish oil. Your right…Using a lid wipe or my lid cleansing foam (which is a bit more economical) a few times a day has help me the most. I’ve tried a few different moisture eyedrops, and I don’t think they help at all. Actually sometimes I feel when I use them when my eye is irritated, they make my eyes feel worse.

I purchased fish oil 2400 mg. Says delivering720 mg of total omega 3 fatty acids with EPA 14-20% DHA 9-14% and other omega 3’s 2-5%. Should I take more than 1 capsule? Thank you

After your patients start taking the 2000 mg of fish oil a day that you recommend, how long before they experience A reduction in their posterior blepharitis?

I have a serious case of Blepharitis, it has been going on now for 7 months. It started with an overdose of polen floating in the air. I have always suffered from dry eyes, particularly since Lasik surgery. I could never tolerate any shampoo or face washers on my eyes for reference. I have tried treatments such as Xdemby under prescription and that didn’t work. Here is my question: I tried the Ocusoft Lid Scrubs, the green one with tea tree oil, and that one itches a lot, now I didn’t know I had to rinse it. What can I use to rinse my eyes? Is there a mild liquid you can recommend?
I am currently in Spain on I found milder wiping towelets but I seem to be rubbing my eys too much. I am down to saline solution to rinse them. They are still getting redder, I am not sure if it is anterior or posterior or both, even the white of my eyes is red. I am desperate since my eyes are blurry most of the time.

I have had this since February. My eyes themselves would itch even though it wasn't allergy season yet. Then next week I got these horrible wrinkles under the eyes, darkening too. Puffy bags with wrinkles. Then the actual lids themselves got flaky and dry and under the eye too. Horrible. I tried Aquaphor, CeraVe. Vaseline. It helps moisturize but it comes back and the wrinkles are permanent. I never had wrinkles under my eye at all. I'm miserable.

I recently cured my eyes when l used hand sanitiser on my lids and lashes for 20 sec, kept my eyes closed for 60 sec, twice daily for 4 days, all clear now.
