I was told by my optometrist that blephoritis is chronic . You can’t escape it other than using microwaved eye compresses and drops. Also I use a wipe that my doctor suggested but it is definitely a very bothersome condition.

Tea tree oil baby!! Got rid of mine after applying like 3x over the course of a day, and then wouldn't you know, it spread to my other eye!!!! So I just did the same thing, and I'm telling ya, use a q-tip, close your eyes for a while, don't put it directly in your eye, and you don't necessarily have to dilute it - I didn't - but it's a good idea to make sure you don't have an allergy to tea tree oil first.

My under right eye was swollen. Kinda went away, now my left upper eyelid is swollen huge. Not sure what from. Stings to touch. Been using hot compress with ACV. Tea bags. I’m wondering if it’s from my gfs dogs or cats and pet dander. But this is so annoying

I stand in the mirror for hours holding my eyelids up to try and wipe it off with my clean fingers and it won’t come off. Like it’s clear I can barely see it but I know it’s there and sometimes I’m like am I imaging this. I use hot water and wash cloth and it doesn’t work. How is it so tough? Now I can’t open my right eye and I’m holding a cool wash cloth on it because it’s extremely irritated dry and itchy because of me trying to clean it for so long I assume but yeah it’s on the lid of my eye around all the bases of my eyelashes. It’s like super clear super discreet SUPER stuck on goop that burns. Somebody please help me
