If AMD meant Ryzen 5000 current prices compared to Ryzen 7000 I'd be pumped. Especially since you can get a 5700X for $249.

Imo, AMD really needs to be competitive with Ryzen 5 7600. The i5-13600K's 6p+8e at $299 (or less) is looking like a value king. ...Remember the Ryzen 5 1600 at $219?🤔

AMD is pulling an "Apple" this gen with being "Bold" just supporting DDR5, I know that just like DDR3 became obsolete or left in the past to go to DDR4, the same must happen with DDR4 at one point but I think it is too early for a platform to just say ; "ONLY DDR5" without motherboard options for DDR4 as well, especially a whole new gen socket Leap. AM4 to AM5.
DDR5 only will make a good amount of people uninterested in upgrading to AMD this year and wait for 13th gen which I'm almost certain will come out with DDR4 compatible motherboards.

For arc, I think price will matter. If intel prices it very low, maybe it can still sell. With the matter of it being very delayed, intel can't compete with next gen at their supposed prices now.
