And then out of the blue, she says something that makes your stomach turn. You know the comments: the ones that make it pretty clear that she's just not that into you, or even worse, that she has an ulterior motive for even being out with you in the first place. A fair number of women have no problem asking you how much money you make. Unless she is your tax preparer, tell her that information is personal and we can learn more about each other at the appropriate time. If that answer does not satisfy her, end the evening right there.

I wish I grew up during my fathers generation. Men could go home and unwind, have a few beers, or a whiskey on the rocks, a glass of wine without to much politics about everyday life. My dad grew up during the 1960’s but I always, always envied him because of his generation from the Martini era. What has our world become. I am divorced but still love my ex, but things have changed according to her.
