This FREE mod is absolutely INSANE... and it's basically a WHOLE new game

I know this is a mod, but for a game that was originally designed to be played in 3rd person, this holds up surprisingly well in first person.

I think the fighting Animations doesnt really work very well in First Person, not that its bad but its definitely not meant for a First Person .

Amazing how recognizeable witcher folliage is. At first I thought that it was a mod adding witcher sprites and textures to elder scrolls.

combat looks like it would be stressful, but walking around and exploring in 1st person looks AMAZING! Makes me want to play all over again :)

I'm a FPS player at my core, but my friend convinced me to try Witcher 3 back in 2019 and I've got to say that it's by far the best gaming experience I've ever had. Will definitely give this a go

If this had chivalry combat, like directional attacks and multi-button combos.. raycast sword play I would I'd be done I could die and then I'd be done but this is a good step...

HD Reworked textures is a must when using this mod - installed them both and it's just so much more immersive crazy how well it holds up and how good it still looks. Although for fighting I switch to 3rd person and then back whilst exploring. The animations also surprisingly work really well with first person view - it almost feels like it could of been baked in to the original

Better solution:

Camera mod. You can custom set it for a bunch of situations. I play first person then in combat it zooms out to the vanilla 3d fight camera. At the end of combat it zooms back to first person.

I would probably play the combat in 3rd person and use 1st person for everything else, this looks incredible!
