Every day around 4 or 5 p.m., I struggle with intense snack cravings and end up binge-eating straight from the snack bag, which usually disappears in under 20 minutes. This time during Amazon’s October sales( prime day?? Big deals day?? Too many sales events can’t remember the name)did some damage and got these boxes.. @fitmomminzi shared the balance snack time idea.
So here we are, “His and her snack boxes” ft. 5 pm snack monster 👹 there are 4 compartments of 1/2 cup each helping with portion control and to track calories if we ever decide to.
Green box : Greek yogurt with 1/2 tsp coconut sugar, celery sticks, Sauerkraut( less than half cup), Jalebi
Blue box: Greek yogurt, celery sticks, Besan laddoo, Cashew pakora( Pakoda)
It’s my first attempt at balancing snacks—not fully healthy yet, but we are getting there.
